Product Overview

INDUCOMP"s rugged TimePC Plus™ Data Collection terminal is ideal for Time & Attendance and Factory floor applications.

The TimePC Plus™ comes standard with a numeric keypad for applications requiring limited data entry and full F1-F12 function keys.

The TimePC Plus™ adheres to the NEMA 4X specifications. The unit comes standard with an 8.4" color full-screen TFT display with an optional resistive touch screen. 

The standard OS configuration comes loaded on a solid-state Compact Flash drive with Microsoft® Windows® Embedded XP. With the power of Embedded XP enjoy fast startup, small storage footprint, and limited desktop functions.

Choose from several configurations, Terminal Server, Cytrix Server, Terminal Emulation, and Web Browser.

Other network options include 802.11 b\g wireless LAN radio.

Various scanning options include Barcode, Magnetic, Biometric, and Proximity badge readers

Extended Keypad

The rugged elastomeric extended keypad has additional keys to navigate in Windows application without having a mouse. The numeric keys are extra large for environments that require gloved entry. In addition twelve standard function keys are available, F1 to F12.

Connectivity

The TimePC Plus™ offers a wired or optional 802.11 b\g wireless network connection. With INDUCOMP’s custom long-range antenna, coverage is greatly improved over the standard antennas or even board level antennas.

High Resolution Display

In addition, a bright 8.4” TFT SVGA color display simplifies user interaction with touch screen capabilities and color graphics.

The TimePC Plus has a rugged cast aluminum housing that adheres to the NEMA 4X/IP65 specifications. The TimePC Plus can withstand extreme harsh environments, dust, moisture, and extreme temperatures.

Barcode and RFID Scanning Support

The TimePC Plus supports most USB and RS-232 barcode and RFID scanners.  In addition support includes; Barcode Badge Reader, Magnetic Strip Badge Reader, Proximity Badge Reader and Biometric finger reader

Application Support

State-of-the-art, industry-standard development tools that are used in a thick or thin application, such as Microsoft’s .NET Compact Framework, Visual C++™, Visual Basic™, Java® and HTML™ can be used with the TimePC Plus™.
